Pharmacy Industry Partnership (PIP)

Members of the PIP (representatives) are invited into partnership with UMMC. This partnership is self-governing under the guidance of the Therapeutics Committee of the Medical Staff.

The members of the partnership assist in promoting proper medication use in accordance to the guidelines approved by the Therapeutics Committee.

Periodically throughout the year, the PIP sponsors drug exhibits for medical, nursing, pharmacy, allied health practitioners, and students. Excess proceeds are usually donated to a charity or philanthropic service and UMMC patients.
