Among the topics: the differences between "good" and "bad" cholesterol and the role of diet, exercise and medications in lowering cholesterol. Dr. Miller is director of preventive cardiology at the University of Maryland Medical Center, and a professor of medicine and epidemiology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine.
Speaking with Bill Seiler, he also explains what criteria physicians use to recommend medications in order to control cholesterol.
