Headaches are very common, and not just in adults. Children suffer from headaches, too - especially migraines. Unfortunately, many children's headaches go undiagnosed and untreated, yet there are good treatments available.

In this Medically Speaking podcast, Dr. Jack Gladstein, head of the Pediatric Headache Clinic at the University of Maryland Hospital for Children in Baltimore, describes the causes, symptoms and treatments for children with migraine headaches. Dr. Gladstein is also a professor of pediatrics and neurology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine.

In this interview with Becky Ceraul, Dr. Gladstein also talks about the roles of stress, sleep and genetics in headaches in children.
