University of Maryland Medical Center (UMMC) is responsible for providing an organized educational program for residents and fellows, under the guidance and supervision of the University of Maryland School of Medicine faculty. The goal is to facilitate the ethical, professional, and personal development of residents and fellows, while ensuring safe and appropriate care for patients.
