Mission and Goals

Our Mission

To provide focused, high-quality education experiences to prospective dietitians, endowing entry-level knowledge to support patients and the larger community for improvement and maintenance of nutrition status.

 

 

Program Goals

  1. To provide an environment that will combine didactic instruction with supervised clinical, community, and food services experiences to prepare interns for entry level practice
  2. To train future RDs who contribute to the profession by their attainment of advanced certifications, degrees, and scholarly activities

Rotations, classes and other learning experiences are designed to meet the Accreditation Standards for Dietetic Internship Programs established by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
