A little about myself. . .
I guess you could say I’m from the South— after all, I was born in Lima, Peru. I lived there until the age of 10 when I moved to rainy Seattle, WA. I went to undergrad at the University of Washington and majored in Biochemistry. I then moved to sunny Philadelphia for medical school, where I also received my master’s degree in Urban Bioethics. During my time at Temple, I went on multiple global health trips to countries including Panama, Guatemala, and (of course) Peru.
I feel very excited and fortunate to be training at the University of Maryland and I look forward to making many happy memories here over the next four years. In my time off, I enjoy hiking, experimenting with Peruvian and vegan cooking, brushing up on my photography skills, and working on my (balcony friendly) vegetable garden.
