A little about myself. . .
I was born in Grosse Pointe, MI, but moved to Severna Park, MD when I was only 6 months old. I grew up there with my parents, older brother and at least one dog at all times. After high school, I moved to NYC for 5 years to fulfill a dream of living in the big city. Then, I returned back home to attend University of Maryland College Park for my undergraduate studies where I majored in Physiology and Neurobiology (this is where my husband will want me to say: Go Terps!). Next up was University of Maryland School of Medicine where I had such a great experience that I decided to stay there for my pediatric residency. I am excited to figure out what exactly I would like to pursue in pediatrics!
I now live with my husband (Tom), daughter (Isla) and dog (Mabel) just 5 minutes away from the house I grew up in. In my free time, you can find me hanging out with my family, taking my dog for walks (or runs if I’m feeling ambitious), and trying to figure out this whole “parenting” thing!
