A little about myself. . .
I was born in Cairo, Egypt but moved to Saudi Arabia, where I lived until the age of 4. I immigrated to the US with my parents and younger sister where we moved between various states before finally settling in Northern Virginia when I was 11. I majored in Neuroscience and minored in Spanish and Public Health at George Mason University. I didn't go too far for medical school, as I attended the George Washington University in DC and grew a love for pediatrics! I am excited to train at the University of Maryland as I have admired the program for several years. My favorite things to do involve spending time with my husband and family, being active in my Coptic Orthodox Church, reading (pretty much anything), singing/playing guitar, and going outside!
