Updates in Inflammatory Bowel Disease 2017 was the 9th University of Maryland School of Medicine Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology Symposium. This in-depth symposium focused on treating patients with IBD and was intended for practicing gastroenterologists, surgeons, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurses, dieticians, and scientists. The presentations, discussion periods and interactive formats were intended to stimulate audience participation in the discussion of these timely topics.
