Fellowship Training - Neurology Residency

The Department of Neurology has multiple active fellowship programs that offer advanced training to develop specialized clinical expertise or basic neuroscience research experience. Completion of an ACGME-accredited Neurology Residency is required for admission into the clinical fellowship programs.

Research Fellowships:

The University of Maryland School of Medicine has an active neuroscience program and it is possible to pursue graduate work in this program or in other basic science departments. The Department of Neurology and allied clinical and basic science departments work cooperatively to support training in both clinical and basic neuroscience research.

Research Fellowships are available in all department subspecialty divisions. Contact individual faculty members to discuss details further.
