The Department of Psychiatry provides comprehensive psychiatric services to all age groups at sites including the University of Maryland Medical Center, Baltimore Veterans Administration Medical Center, the 701 West Pratt Street Building, Kernan Hospital, the Walter P. Carter Center and the Maryland Psychiatric Research Center.

A team of psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists and clinical nurse specialists offer a range of inpatient and outpatient services for children, adolescents, adults and the elderly.
