For All Applicants

Applications are accepted from the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). We have three tracks in ERAS:

  • Psychiatry Residency - This track is for applicants who wish to apply for the first year of psychiatry residency training. (NRMP: 1252400C0)
  • Physician-Scientist Track – This track is for applicants with an M.D./D.O. degree and significant research experience or a Ph.D. degree in a relevant scientific area who wish to pursue residency training and concurrently pursue research in Psychiatry (NRMP: 1252400C1)
  • PGY-2 – This track is for applicants who have completed one-year of graduate medical education in an ACGME-approved residency program in the U.S.

You can apply to both the Psychiatry Residency track and the Physician-Scientist Track for consideration for a position beginning July 1, 2024.

For the 2024 ERAS® cycle, our program will be collecting and reviewing data from applicants’
supplemental ERAS applications. Completion of the standard MyERAS application is a requirement;
completion of the supplemental ERAS application is optional.

In its second year of use, the supplemental ERAS application is designed to help applicants share
more information about themselves and assist our program in finding applicants that fit our
program’s setting and mission. There is no cost to applicants and participation is optional.

The supplemental ERAS application provides:

  • geographic preferences (by division and by urban or rural setting);
  • information about an applicant’s most meaningful experiences and other impactful life
    events, if applicable; and
  • program signals.

The supplemental ERAS application will be delivered on a survey platform that is separate from the
MyERAS application and must be completed between August 1 and September 16, 2023.

There is also a Program Specific Supplemental Application, which will be emailed to you (via
ERAS) after our program receives your completed application. The Program Specific Supplemental
Application will not be submitted in ERAS.
