Libraries and other educational resources

The Health Sciences and Human Services Library is a new facility with a comprehensive collection of books and periodicals. The library provides access to a wide array of electronic databases, E-journals, E-books, and PDA resources. The library has been designated a regional medical library (southeastern/Atlantic region) by the National Library of Medicine and ranks among the top 15 health science libraries in the country in size.

The Department of Neurology has a newly renovated library in close proximity to the neurology inpatient service in the University of Maryland Medical Center. In addition to a book and journal collection, computer facilities are available. Additional educational resources, including computers, are available in the ambulatory facility and at the Baltimore VA Medical Center.

Each resident is given a PDA and has access to the extensive electronic resources of the University.
