The R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center is proud to be Maryland’s Primary Adult Resource Center (PARC) for Trauma. We are excited to be part of Maryland’s TRAUMA TEAM, beginning with the EMS personnel receiving the 911 call, over 30,000 EMS providers, MSP Aviation, and the hospital staff taking care of the patients.
Without the dedication and service of the EMS providers across the state, there would be no need for a hospital like the Shock Trauma Center. The office staff functions as the dedicated liaisons to the EMS community.
