
Congratulations to Jacob Kring, Michael Bell, Christian Grier and D'Sean Williams-Brown of Calvert Hall College, who won first place in the 3D -- Don't Drive Distracted -- teen safe driving video content. Their winning public service announcement, called Teenage Confessions, which is embedded above, features several teens telling stories of what could happen when driving distracted. The winners' prize of $4,000 goes to Calvert Hall College.
The contest was a partnership between the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, the Maryland State Department of Education, the Maryland Highway Safety Foundation and WBAL-TV 11. WBAL will professionally produce the winning video, which will air on WBAL.
Second place went to Michael Riddle of Hammond High School in Columbia for his video Hang it Up, while Nathan Pautsch, Natalie Pautsch, Carlton Mackall and Jonathan Pautsch of Arundel Christian School in Hanover finished third for their video In a World of One's Own.
