The R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, in conjunction with the Maryland Committee on Trauma and the American College of Surgeons, proudly announces its annual trauma conference to be held on April 21, 2011, at the Baltimore Hilton, located at 401 West Pratt Street in Baltimore.
This conference will focus on "Doing More with Less in Austere Environments." Serving as keynote speaker for this event is Susan Briggs, M.D., M.P.H., F.A.C.S., associate professor of surgery at Harvard Medical School and director of the International Trauma and Disaster Institute at Massachusetts General Hospital.
