Operating Room (OR) Suites

The six Shock Trauma Center Operating Rooms are next to the Trauma Resuscitation Unit and the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit, providing immediate access from the Trauma Resuscitation Unit to the Operating Rooms.
Of the six rooms, Room One, which is next to the Trauma Resuscitation Unit, is kept stocked and set-up at all times for the immediate acceptance of a patient, including direct transfer from the field to the Operating Room, if needed.
In addition, the Shock Trauma Center operating rooms are fully equipped with up-to-date, state of the art equipment.
