The Wound Service provides a continuum of care to patients with the most catastrophic of injuries and chronic non-healing wounds. The wound team specializes in utilizing multiple modalities to treat the difficult-to-heal wounds. Adjunctive services support the wound team such as Ostomy Services, Hyperbaric Medicine and Nutritional Services. The Wound Service also encourages patient education and awareness of the chronic conditions, which can impact the activities of daily living.
