Emphysema Foundation: includes detailed information about diagnostic testing and treatment methods.

CTS Net (the Cardiothoracic Surgery Network): This site by the Society of Thoracic Surgeons is targeted at surgeons but is currently building more patient information. Perform a keyword search for "emphysema" or read/join the discussion forum on lung volume reduction surgery.
