Research - Liver Center
The University of Maryland Liver Center maintains an
active research program in both the clinical and basic sciences. The areas of
interest include cryoablation of liver tumors, noninvasive determination of
cardiopulmonary function in liver disease, portopulmonary hypertension,
mechanisms of injury to liver cells, cell transplantation and liver assist
devices for liver failure. The following are publications generated by
