Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), which includes Crohn's and ulcerative colitis, affects more than one million people in the United States. In this interview by Ellen Beth Levitt, you hear from two experts who discuss symptoms, diagnosis and the latest treatments for IBD.

Dr. Raymond Cross, the director of the inflammatory bowel disease program at the University of Maryland Medical Center. Dr. Cross is also an associate professor of medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. The second guest is Dr. Stephen Kavic, a general surgeon at the University of Maryland Medical Center and an assistant professor of surgery at the University of Maryland School of Medicine.
