Overview:

In this video, Mohan Suntha, M.D. discusses clinical trials for cancer. He explains the different types of trials; the importance of clinical trials in advancing scientific discoveries and improving cancer treatment; and the reasons why a patient might want to consider enrolling in a clinical trial. Dr. Suntha is Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Professor of radiation oncology, vice chair of the department of radiation oncology, and associate director of the University of Maryland Greenebaum Cancer Center.
