Listen to Dr. Stacy Garrett-Ray explain the outreach efforts provided by the Baltimore City Cancer Program.
The Baltimore City Cancer Program (BCCP) is a community-based initiative of the University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Cancer Center dedicated to providing free clinical breast exams and mammograms to low-income, uninsured women in Baltimore City. The program also offers free cervical cancer screening. BCCP is funded through Maryland’s Cigarette Restitution Fund Program. It was created in 2001 to help eliminate cancer deaths in Baltimore City through early detection, diagnosis, treatment and education.
