Overview:

Patients with cancers of the blood (leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and multiple myeloma) are treated in the Hematologic Malignancies Program at the University of Maryland Greenebaum Cancer Center. Specialists from all disciplines -- including medical, surgical and radiation onoclogists, pathologists, radiologists, genetic counselors, and others -- meet to review each patient's case and formulate the best possible treatment plan.

In this short video, the program's nurse practitioner, Susan Hodges, C.R.N.P., explains what you can expect when you come to UMGCC for your care.
