Overview:

Lung and esophageal cancer patients are treated in the Thoracic Oncology Program at the University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Cancer Center. Specialists from all disciplines -- including medical, surgical and radiation onoclogists, pathologists, radiologists, genetic counselors, and others -- meet to review each patient's case and formulate the best possible treatment plan.

In this short video, nurse practitioner Michelle Bedor Turner, M.S., C.R.N.P., explains the team approach to the care of patients with lung and esophageal cancer and what you can expect when you come to UMGCC for your care.
