Board certified gynecologic oncologist Neil B. Rosenshein, M.D., is a clinical professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and director of Gynecologic Oncology at the University of Maryland Medical Center.

He is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the Medical and Chirurgical Faculty of the State of Maryland, the Obstetrical and Gynecological Society of Maryland, the Mid-Atlantic Gynecologic Oncology Society and the Baltimore City Medical Society, and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Rosenshein has published articles in nearly 150 medical journals and publications, including the Journal of the American Medical Association, the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and the New England Journal of Medicine. He authored the book, Manual of Gynecologic Oncology and co-authored Surgery in Retroperitoneal Space: An Operative Gynecology Videobook.

Dr. Rosenshein was named in the August 1997 edition of Good Housekeeping as one of the best gynecologic oncologists in the nation. He was also named Humanitarian of the Year in 2002 by the Mildred Mindell Cancer Foundation, and in 2003 he was recognized for "a life completely dedicated to battling cancer and safeguarding women's health" at that year's "HealthCare Heroes" awards celebration presented by The Daily Record newspaper in Baltimore.

Dr. Rosenshein is also involved in medical research, including serving as the Primary Investigator for a study involving the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health to isolate markers in the blood that may help find tumors (2003). This study is sponsored by the National Cancer Institute, Cancer Biomarkers Research Group and Early Detection Research Network.

Dr. Im is a clinical assistant professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and is assistant director of Gynecologic Oncology at the University of Maryland Medical Center.

A graduate of Princeton University, Dr. Im completed his residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital and fellowship at Hopkins under the tutelage of Neil Rosenshein, M.D. He is board certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners and the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Im has made numerous professional presentations on topics such as cervical and ovarian cancer, fallopian tube cancer, vaginal lesions and breast cancer. Dr. Im has had many articles and chapters published on subjects such as ultrasonic surgical techniques, primary lymphoma of the ovary and other issues relative to reproductive cancers. Additional interests include pelvic surgery and treating HPV.

Dr. Im is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (Fellow); the Johns Hopkins Medical and Surgical Association; Mid-Atlantic Gynecologic Oncology Society; the American Medical Association; and Society of Gynecologic Oncologists (full member). He serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Women's Imaging, and as a reviewer for Gynecologic Oncology and for Obstetrics and Gynecology.
