Labor and Delivery Area Tours

University of Maryland Women's Health offers tours of the labor and delivery area for both expectant parents and big brothers and big sisters. For more information or to register, call 410-328-2944.

Tour of Labor & Delivery

This is for expectant parents not taking childbirth education classes at the University of Maryland Medical Center (tours a part of the childbirth classes).

The tour covers both the labor and delivery and mother/baby areas. Tours are held once a month on Sunday from 4 to 5 p.m.

Fees: Free

Big Brother/Big Sister Tours (for children ages 3-8)

Children learn what it will be like to be a big brother or big sister
Story reading and coloring activities
Tour labor and delivery and mother/baby areas
Souvenir button, doctor's cap, mask and booties given
Tours arranged on an individual basis

Fees: $5 per child
