La función del líquido amniótico

Dentro del útero de una mujer embarazada se encuentra el saco amniótico, que contiene el líquido amniótico y el feto en desarrollo. El líquido amniótico es importante por varias razones:

  • Ayuda a mantener al bebé caliente.
  • Brinda lubricación para evitar que las partes del cuerpo del bebé se junten al crecer.
  • Permite al bebé moverse fácilmente y ejercitar sus músculos, a la vez que fortalecen los huesos antes de nacer.
  • Actúa como un absorbente líquido de impactos para el bebé al distribuir cualquier fuerza que pueda afectar el útero de la madre.
