Rotations - Infectious Diseases Fellowship

The UM ID Division has multiple sub-specialized inpatient and outpatient clinical activities, which affords our fellows the opportunity to work one-on-one with attending physicians with expertise in each of these areas. Each ID faculty member spends dedicated time on 1 or at most 2 service rotations, so they have a wealth and depth of focused ID experience that is rare in the U.S. ID rotations are popular with our residents and students as well, so many inpatient consult services will have medical trainees and even PharmD’s in training present. Interacting with these trainees is a great way for our fellows to further develop their teaching skills.
